About Danielle
I started playing piano when I was 6 and studied through the Royal Conservatory up until I was 14. Although I took a break from music for several years, I rediscovered my passion for piano two years ago at the age of 24. It felt like I had never left.
Returning to piano has reminded me of the positive impact music can have on our lives. For me, playing is a way to slow down, stay present and find calm in a fast-paced world. That experience is one of the reasons I'm so passionate about helping others discover the joy and confidence that comes from learning an instrument.
Whether you're 6 or 60, I believe it's never too late to start learning piano, and I'd love to be part of your musical journey.

Whether you're an adult looking to learn a new hobby or a parent hoping to introduce your child to music, I'd love to help you begin your piano journey.
I specialize in teaching absolute beginners of all ages, whether you've never touched a piano before or you've tried learning on your own. My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, learning style, and pace, creating a supportive environment where students can build confidence while having fun.
For younger students, I incorporate engaging activities and games to keep lessons enjoyable while still developing strong musical foundations. My goal is to make learning piano something students look forward to each week. Parents are always welcome to sit in with the lessons as well.
A standard start point would begin with the fundamentals, including proper technique, basic scales, understanding and reading sheet music, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. We can start learning your favourite songs sooner than you might expect, or work toward Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations and performance.
