About Eleana

I am a neuroscience student at the University of Bristol. I achieved A*, A*, A in my Biology, Chemistry and Maths A-Levels and I have been tutoring for 2 years.

Outside of my studies, I am really keen on sports and love spending my time in the mountains. This is where my passion for altitude physiology began and I am now undertaking a placement year in altitude physiology research.

About the lesson

Lessons with me will be built around the student's needs. I have found that most students like a short warm-up/revision activity before moving on to discussing content for that session and finishing with exam practice.

I like to work off what the student already knows so my lessons are always tailored to the individual, therefore the most beneficial use of time.

I also offer marking time, which is where I will make a practice paper for the student, give them 1 week to complete, I then give written feedback and discuss any areas to improve in the next lesson.

I understand that life as a college/sixth form student can be quite hectic so I am very flexible with lesson times.
