About Ella
Hi! I'm Ella and I'm a year 12 student based in Birmingham, UK. I completed my GCSEs in 2024 and achieved (concealed information), including 9s in biology and chemistry. I now study biology, chemistry and psychology at A-level and I'm predicted A*A*A*. I am always keen to help people out in class when they don't understand something, and I'd now love to build on this by sharing my passion for science and supporting you to achieve the best grades you possibly can in GCSE biology and chemistry (AQA).

As a current A-level student, I am very aware of the value of using the specification and practising exam technique when preparing for qualifications like GCSEs. My lessons will be focused on teaching or reviewing content using the specification as a guideline, and applying this knowledge to practice questions to build exam technique. However, I am happy to be led by your needs, whether that be preparing for an upcoming assessment, going over general topics which you are less confident on, or providing guidance with homework. I will do my best to implement a teaching style which works well for you, and I can also help you identify which revision techniques work best. Overall, I aim to support you in a relaxed environment where learning doesn't feel overwhelming and you feel able to ask questions or for further support! :)
