About Sammie
Hello!
I'm a remote working online tutor, teaching biology and chemistry online from 11 plus to A2 level. My background includes work in the pharmaceutical sector and a master's degree in chemistry with medicinal chemistry. I've worked with children and young people of all ages from working as a tutor as well as a gymnastics coach AND a personal trainer!

My teaching method emphasises exam technique. Even the most confident of students trip up on pesky exam questions that require to remain level headed and not go too fast! I like to make sure students are confident in time by marking a past exam paper each week and providing them with feedback. I also offer individualised questions on students' least confident areas, that I create and email through to students to complete. I make my online teaching immersive by doing "chalk and talk" sessions and including useful websites, youtube videos and netflix recommendations.
