LET’S TALK ABOUT YOU FIRST!

Learning English can be frustrating, especially when you know what you want to say but can't quite find the words, or you understand the rules but still don't feel confident using them.

Maybe you want to speak more confidently. Maybe grammar is giving you a hard time. Maybe you want to improve your writing, pronunciation, vocabulary, or just feel more comfortable having conversations in English.

Whatever your reason is, we can start from there.

I don't believe in giving every student the exact same lesson. First, I want to understand where you are, what you want to achieve, and where you're currently struggling. Then we can work from there.

My lessons are practical and interactive. We might have conversations, work through activities, use videos or other resources, or practise with real-life situations. The goal is simple: to help you understand English and actually use it.

With my background in education and instructional design, I also pay attention to how you learn, not just what you need to learn.

Because a good lesson isn't just about covering a topic. It's about making sure you leave understanding something you didn't understand before.

About the lesson

SO, WHAT WILL WE ACTUALLY DO?

Well, that depends on you.

If you want to speak English more confidently, we’ll talk. A lot. We’ll have conversations, practise expressing your thoughts, and work on the areas where you get stuck.

If grammar is your problem, we’ll take it one step at a time. No complicated explanations just for the sake of sounding academic.

If you want to improve your reading or writing, we’ll work with actual examples and practise together.

And if you just want to get better at English generally, we can work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.

I don't want you to finish a lesson thinking, “Okay, that was nice.”

I want you to think, “Ah, I finally understand this.”

I DON'T JUST WANT TO TEACH YOU ENGLISH. I WANT YOU TO ACTUALLY USE IT.

I don't want our lessons to feel like you're sitting in front of a teacher for one hour while I do all the talking.

You’ll talk. You’ll ask questions. You’ll make mistakes. I’ll correct you. Then you’ll try again.

We might use a video, have a conversation, work through an exercise, read something together, or use a situation you’re likely to come across in real life.

I’ll choose what makes sense for the lesson and for you.

WHY LEARN WITH ME?

Because I enjoy that moment when something finally clicks for a learner.

I studied English and Literary Studies Education, and I also have a background in instructional design. So I'm always thinking about one thing: how can I make this easier for you to understand?

Whether you're learning English for school, work, travel, everyday conversations, or just because you want to improve, we’ll start from where you are.

You don't have to already be good at English to learn with me.
