About Maika

Hello! I’m a native Japanese speaker from Osaka! I’m always smiling and easy to talk to, so I create a comfortable and friendly atmosphere where you can ask questions freely during the lesson. I also have working holiday experience in Australia, so I can support you in English as well! I love taking on new challenges, so I’ll fully support your challenge of learning Japanese too! I love talking with people and learning about different cultures and ways of thinking from around the world. Let’s share stories about our countries and cultures during the lesson! I can discuss various topics with you, analyze your needs, and devise a plan to achieve your Japanese goals! Let's learn Japanese with me :)

About the lesson

In my lessons, I value the feeling of “You understand,” “You can do it,” and “This is fun!” I offer personalized classes based on each student’s goals and what you want to learn. Even if you understand something in your head, it doesn’t always mean you can actually use it in real life, right? I’ll support you until you can confidently say, “I can do it!” and “This is fun!” My lesson is perfect for • Those who want to learn Japanese, but don’t know where to start • Those who want to speak more smoothly in daily conversations • Those who want to practice Japanese for travel • Those who want to learn how to order at restaurants and go shopping • Those who want to learn Osaka dialect!
