About Kate
I am a multi-instrumentalist performer and composer, and currently completing a master's in music therapy. I play with several projects here in Ireland, from folk to reggae to improvised sound scapes. I have studied violin and cornet since the age of seven, have a classical and brass band back ground, and a BAhons in music, and now I play all kinds of genres including Irish trad. Music has always been the focus of my life and my passion, and I am honoured and excited to share my knowledge with you!

I like to combine different approaches to music making, from the basics of technique and posture, to reading music, improvisation, and learning tunes by ear. We will take mindful approach to exploring your instrument, and have fun along the way!
