About Sophie
I am currently a student studying for a degree in Biochemistry, which before hand I was an A-level student for Biology, Chemistry and English Literature / Language, because of this I understand the difficulties with the new specifications and have experience in revising with limited resources - this is where I can use my experience to help you. I previously tutored two students in GCSE maths who then both achieved above their target grades. Because of this I am also comfortable tutoring in maths at GCSE level however, the main lessons I offer are Biology and Chemistry lessons at GCSE and A level.

In order to achieve high grades in your exams, you need to understand what you care being asked and then be able to recall the relevant knowledge, my teaching style involves looking past exam questions, interpreting what is wanted from it and then aiding you as you answer the question step by step. Alongside answering exam questions, we will also go over revision techniques which helped me through my exams and helped me recall knowledge quickly under the timed conditions. If you are an A level student going into university, I can also be there to offer advice in terms of UCAS applications and personal statements.
