i would focus on teaching the core skills needed such as scales, chords and pentatonics, moving onto using these for improvisation and songwriting. would also teach existing songs

I highly recommend Olivia for guitar lessons. She's an amazing player, very knowledgeable and has a great way of breaking things down and explaining them. Olivia and I have known each other and played gigs alongside each other for quite a few years now and I cannot recommend her highly enough!
