About Ro
I work full-time in the Music/Audio industry, firstly through my work at the Audio Software company NUGEN Audio by day and secondly as a commercial DJ on evenings/weekends. I have built up a wealth of experience DJing all around the UK in a vast variety of different environments and I am passionate about helping others do the same! As a music producer I've released dance music commercially through international Record Labels, produced for TV/Film (most notably having music featured on the BBC and ITV) and have done work producing podcasts. My role at NUGEN Audio requires me to work with some of the world's biggest Audio Engineers and Music Producers. This has helped me develop strong communication skills and has further enhanced my technical knowledge and understanding of Audio Production, which I look forward to sharing with students.

I focus on getting to know my students and what their main objectives are. Once established, my lessons will be tailored to suit each student's individual goals whether it's mastering the basics, learning how to structure a set or learning how to curate playlists - ideally all to set you up to be confident to go out and play gigs (bedroom DJs are of course welcome to learn too though!) As a DJ I've performed in a wide range of settings, and currently DJ at bars, private events, weddings and corporate parties regularly. I've therefore developed the skills to confidently go out to any event and provide the right vibe for loads of different clients! As a Music Producer I have released on record labels with widespread support internationally and I have also produced music that has been featured on the likes of ITV, BBC Radio 4 and the BBC World Service. By day I also work for an audio plug-in company (NUGEN Audio) which has helped me develop further skills in working with different DAWs, as well as enhancing my mixing and production skills. For students interested in Music Production lessons I would comfortably be able to guide them through workflows on either Logic Pro X and Ableton Live and through an understanding of their objectives develop a plan to get them comfortable using the software and confidently producing the music they wish to make. My lessons are ideal for beginners and intermediate learners of all ages who are passionate about DJing and music production. Whether you’re starting from scratch or want to refine your skills to perform at gigs, I’ll guide you step by step to help achieve your goals. I am happy to teach in-person at my own little home studio or online, whatever works best!
