About Mireille
Physics and maths lecturer. Duties involved prepared and delivered lectures to students, demonstrated experiments and supervised practicals for undergraduate students of up to 120 students, making sure they fully understood and successfully completed their practical work. The ability to convey complex and technical details in a simple, comprehensible manner was therefore essential.

Along with research, teaching has been integral to my graduate training, and I have taught a variety of subjects to diverse groups of students. During the first semester of 2018, I taught an intensive undergraduate electromagnetism and optics course in physics at Durban University of Technology. For this course, I developed this course and created a new syllabus combining lectures, and discussions and delivered daily lectures to a group of 120 students.
