About Michael

I'm a Physics Major at UCSB who's excited about teaching. I went to community college for two years and tutored the whole way through. I meet my students where they are and build them to where they need to be.

About the lesson

I’ve helped my students, who once felt lost in class, finally feel capable, prepared, and even excited about the material.

What you can expect from me:
-Calm, supportive guidance
-Clear explanations grounded in first principles
-A structured approach that strengthens your foundation
-Someone who truly cares that you succeed.

Students trust me because I don’t rush, I don’t judge, and I meet you exactly where you're at. My approach is conversational and clear: we work through problems step-by-step to understand the “how,” which is so critical in physics. Over time, this will build the intuition and confidence needed to flourish in hard topics like these.

My strength as a tutor comes from years of studying and thinking seriously about how ideas fit together in physics, mathematics. This is an expertise in a subject that can accelerate learning.

If you want a tutor who takes your learning seriously and helps you build real confidence step by step, I’d be happy to work with you.

Michael tutors my son in 8th grade compaction math. He shows patience, communicates well and has raised my son’s grade from a low “C” to an “A-“. He is exactly what we were looking for in a tutor. I highly recommend him.

We are close friends. We met in college in a class. He told me he was a stem tutor, so I regularly visited him for help with my classes. He explained the concepts I was stuck on thoroughly and help me gain a knowledge for math and physics I didn't know I was capable of.
