About Anwesha
I always identify myself as a forever student of music. I have been learning music since childhood from my parents and teachers. However, I started my formal training in Hindustani classical music in 2017 under the tutelage of my guru Shri Omkar Dadarkar.
Although I have been singing since childhood, it was my Guruji's training that made me realise that barely singing is not enough if you don't get yourself out of your comfort zone and practice different techniques that moulds your voice.
The techniques should be very subjective to each and every student, depending upon his or her past knowledge and musical ability.
I will try to instruct every student with the necessary practices that is relevant to each of them.
Besides music, I have done my masters in English Literature. This subject allows me to look at art and aesthetic from a profound lense.
So, I am looking forward to impart whatever knowledge I have of music, art and aesthetics.

Singing is all about brushing up your musical sense and practicing correct techniques. My class will focus basically upon:
1) Basic understanding of all the notes.
2) Following correct techniques while practicing.
3) Basic knowledge of the Raga system under Hindustani classical music.
4) Using the techniques while singing light music for better execution.
