I’m Haru, a current undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, pursuing a simultaneous degree in Society & Environment and Social Welfare with a minor in Global Poverty & Practice. As a non-native English speaker who achieved a TOEFL score of 110—placing me in the top 8% of test-takers worldwide—I understand both the challenges and the strategies required to master the test. My academic background at one of the world’s leading universities has strengthened my skills in critical thinking, academic writing, and public speaking.
