About Louise
I am a student at Queen’s University in Belfast with a passion for languages and culture!
Being able to help others learn the subject that I am so passionate about would be a wonderfully valuable experience.
Many people see languages as a ‘boring’ and ‘unimportant’ subject, but I would like to change this attitude and demonstrate how they are an integral part of understanding each other and our cultures.

As I have both GCSE and A Level qualifications in French, as well as doing the first year of a degree in French, I will be able to help students from any year at school.
I would discuss the exam specifications and find out your areas of strength and weakness and figure out how we can develop these.
As I have helped tutor other students in person, I know how to foster a relaxed learning environment where we can:
- Practice speaking the language (both in terms of pronunciation and the actual bulk of the answer - what we want to say)
-Develop written language for answering questions or writing essays.
- Improve comprehension and deepen our understanding of French texts and their context in the Francophone world.
