From Shutter to Sculpture: Bridging the Gap for the Modern Photographer
My journey as a tutor didn't start with a textbook; it started with a collection of classic gear and a fascination for how things work. As the founder of PhotoFusionArt, I’ve spent years collecting and restoring vintage cameras—from the satisfying mechanical click of a Nikon shutter to the intricate patina of a well-worn lens.
I’ve always believed that to take a great photo, you have to understand your tool. That’s why I combine my lifelong love for analog photography with the precision of modern 3D design.
Why I Tutor:
What I’ve learned through restoring cameras and designing custom 3D-printed accessories is that there is a unique synergy between nostalgia and innovation. I teach my students how to bridge that gap.

Move beyond "Auto" and master the art of intentional photography.
Whether you’ve just inherited a vintage 35mm film camera (like a Nikon FE, Canon AE-1, or Pentax K1000) or you have a modern Digital DSLR/Mirrorless, I will teach you how to take full control of your settings to create stunning, professional-level images.
In our 1-on-1 sessions, we don't just talk about theory—we get hands-on with your specific gear.
🛠️ What we will cover:
The Exposure Triangle: Master the relationship between Aperture, Shutter Speed, and ISO to get perfect exposure every time.
Vintage Gear Mastery: How to load film correctly, read a needle-style light meter, and troubleshoot mechanical quirks (like shutter timing).
The "Film Look" on Digital: Learn how to use your modern camera to capture that nostalgic, high-dynamic-range aesthetic.
Manual Focusing: Techniques for hitting sharp focus every time without relying on modern autofocus.
Film Selection: Choosing the right film stock (Kodak, Ilford, Fujifilm) for the look you want.
My Teaching Style
My goal is to make "technical" concepts feel like common sense. I skip the boring lectures and focus on practical results. By the end of our first hour, you will feel confident enough to walk out the door and shoot a roll of film without worrying about wasting a single shot.
Beginner Friendly: No prior knowledge required.
Gear Specific: We use your camera so you learn exactly where the buttons are.
Live Troubleshooting: Stuck shutter? Dark viewfinder? We’ll fix it together.
