I am a university student, a dedicated chess mentor, and an active competitive tournament player with a peak rating of 2000+ on Chess.com. Having played chess competitively for years, my journey has taught me that chess is far more than just pieces moving on a board—it is a powerful tool for developing discipline, sharp focus, and strategic thinking.
As a college student currently balancing academics and competitive play, I understand how young minds learn best. I know firsthand that dry lecturing doesn’t work. Instead, I bring a high-energy, relatable, and modern approach to my classes. I love mentoring beginners and intermediate players because nothing is more rewarding than watching a student have that "aha!" moment when a complex tactical pattern suddenly clicks for them.
My goal as a coach is not just to help students gain rating points online, but to build their confidence under pressure and teach them how to calculate calculated risks. Hello! I’m a passionate chess player with a 2000+ rating on Chess.com and currently a 2nd-year college student. My classes are designed for beginners, intermediate players, and anyone who wants to improve their understanding of the game step by step.
My Teaching Methodology
I focus on making chess easy to understand rather than just memorizing moves. My teaching style is interactive, student-friendly, and highly practical.
