About Dámaris

Hi! I’m Dámaris. I’m originally from Southern Spain, but I’ve been calling Ireland home for over 4 years.
Since I’ve been through the process of living abroad myself, I know exactly what it’s like to feel frustrated when you can't express yourself. I’ve been in your shoes, and I’m here to help you bridge that gap!

I have an extensive background in public-facing roles and years of experience in education. This has taught me how to be patient, clear, and—most importantly—how to adapt to each person's unique rhythm. For me, teaching isn't about rigid rules; it's about helping you gain the confidence to communicate.

I’m a very active person and I love chatting about:
• Wellness & Cosmetics: I’m passionate about self-care and professional makeup.
• Food & Cooking: As a true Spaniard, I could talk about food all day!

About the lesson

If you want to finally start speaking with confidence, my approach is simple: learning through natural conversation about topics you actually enjoy.

- Practical Fluency: We’ll focus on the vocabulary you need for real life, moving away from repetitive textbook exercises.

- A Relaxed Atmosphere: I’ll help you with pronunciation and grammar as we go. My priority is for you to feel comfortable and gain the confidence to speak without fear of making mistakes.

- English Support (C1): If you ever get stuck, we can use English to clarify complex concepts. You’ll never feel lost in our lessons.

• Our First Session
We’ll use our first meeting to get to know each other. We’ll chat about your goals and interests (I personally love discussing wellness and lifestyle) to create a plan tailored to you. This way, every lesson has a clear purpose.
