About Carlos
I consider it important that the teacher as well as being well experienced and qualified should enjoy their job and be able to transmit motivation and enthusiasm to the student. My experience has shown me that I need to be well organised and set clear goals that should be agreed on first meeting .
Quite often students think that having classes is enough in and of itself to improve. A little bit more is needed , and that´s where self-study, homework, and weekly revision in class of material given is vital to guarantee the contact time with the language. But it´s not all work and no play, learning can be fun too. With this in mind I always look for students to tell me about their life experiences, their interests etc. A good teacher- student relationship helps the student to feel relaxed and therefore able and willing to make mistakes in order to learn.
I really care about each of my students, and truly want to help every single one achieve his or her goal.
