• Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

  "Communication is the key to success".
  I prepare kids to communicate fluently in their prefered way, whether its music or any other language .
  Language and music are my subject . And I beleive are interconnected, because both are use to "communicate" and "express" feelings and emotions . Music is a language of soul, and language spoken in proper manner can sound musical to the ear.

• What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

  I have always been so grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person that I am today. I only hope that I can make that same kind of positive impact on the minds and hearts of my students.

• How does your work help society?

  I believe teachers have the most important job in the world. Teaching music can help in the healing process, dismantling walls and boundaries, reconciliation, and education. Around the world, music is being used as a vehicle for social change and bringing communities together.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  For me, I think my mom is the best role model for the work. She teaches "commitment" by dedicating her whole life to us. "Motivation" and "encouragement" by keep telling us to do better in our life everyday. "Interaction" by keep trying to know how our day went, and the most important "leadership quality" by managing the whole family and house effortlessly.
  I think every mother has all the qualities that a teacher should have and that's why there's a saying:
  "Education starts at home"

• Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

  Music has always been a very important part of my life, my love for dancing started when was kid. So when I have leisure time, prefer spending dancing.

• Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

  There are so many but would like to share one.
  It was my friend's birthday we were celebrating in a restaurant. There were other invited guests also. Everybody was eating, dancing, talking, and having fun.
  I had no idea one of the invited guests was the owner of a renowned news channel, we exchanged words, ideas, and opinions. It was no doubt one of the best and most incredibly knowledgeable conversations i had with.
  The celebration was over and everybody went home. On the next day when I woke up, there was an interview letter for me from that news channel.
  Went there, interviewed, and got selected.
  Now working as a news presenter for the channel.
  And that taught me that, opportunity can knock at your door anytime. You never know when, but what you can do is prepare yourself for situations and opportunities.
  So always be prepared, and keep learning and educating yourself.
