Learn Sketchup to design and make things! Bristol based carpenter/designer with over a decades experience using the program!

I met Dan through work and discussed my plans for a barn conversion. I wanted a more professional means of getting our ideas down to present to an architect and he suggested SketchUp and offered to give me tuition.
I am by no means computer savvy but he helped me set up the program and began to guide me through the basic process of constructing shapes and even progressed to the early stage of something resembling a barn.
After just three hours I feel reasonably confident and although I will need further tuition, I have the confidence to explore this package by myself using Dan’s helpful notes.
He has a wealth of experience in this field and I found him patient and extremely helpful, letting me work things out for myself and stepping in when needed.
I would therefore highly recommend Dan as a tutor, he has a friendly, calm, relaxed manner and is very knowledgeable.
