About Aoi

Nice to meet you! My name is Aoi. It may be a bit difficult for English speakers to pronounce, but it sounds the same as "aoi" , which represents the color of the sky and sea in Japanese. I was born near the borders of Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara, and I stayed in New Zealand for working holiday last year. I love supporting people who take on new challenges! Previously, I worked in a hospital as a rehabilitation specialist. People around me often describe me as "gentle and approachable." I hope we can become friends across borders. When I stayed in New Zealand for working holiday, my host mother told me, "Every choice should be for your own happiness." These words have always supported me. Just like this phrase I encountered through learning a foreign language, I’d love to hear about your favorite Japanese phrases and what inspired you to study Japanese. As our lessons progress, I hope we will have many meaningful words to share. Let’s have fun and work hard together!
