About Elise
I am a trained folk musician from the Norwegian Academy of Music. I play both recorder and fiddle, and in recent years I have toured around the world with my inter-Scandinavian trio.
As a folk musician, I enjoy playing concerts, but also really love playing in informal social settings with good friends.

The most important thing about playing music is that it should be fun!
The lessons are largely set up according to the student's own wishes and it varies between note learning, ear training and technique.
In recent years, I have mostly taught adult beginners. I anjoy this a lot as adults have a much steeper learning curve than children, and quickly master playing good melodies they can enjoy.
It is never too late to learn how to play a new instrument!
