About Elqanah
I am a classically trained pianist with 18 years of experience and a lifelong background in music. I have studied music theory for 15 years and have extensive experience performing in concert bands, jazz bands, and marching bands.
In addition to piano, I have experience playing saxophone, trumpet, and drums, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of rhythm, melody, harmony, and ensemble performance. My experience across multiple instruments allows me to teach piano from both a technical and musical perspective.
I aim to create a patient, encouraging environment where students can build confidence, develop strong fundamentals, and most importantly, enjoy learning music.

I make piano lessons fun, comfortable, and personalized to each student’s goals and experience level. For beginners, I focus on building a strong foundation through proper hand positioning, basic chords, scales, note reading, rhythm, and playing simple songs.
Lessons are taught step-by-step and at the student’s own pace. I can also incorporate songs and styles of music that the student actually enjoys, making practice more engaging. My goal is to help students develop confidence, musical understanding, and the skills needed to eventually learn and play songs independently.
