"I am a piano tutor with 5 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Piano. I enjoy helping students build confidence while developing a genuine love for music. My lessons encourage curiosity, steady progress, and meaningful musical expression.
I believe every piece should be played with purpose instead of simply pressing the right notes. Along with piano performance, I teach music theory, music history, technique, and creative skills that support long-term growth. Each lesson is adjusted to suit your experience, learning style, and personal goals.
I have guided complete beginners, hobby learners, and advanced students preparing for performances and examinations. I remember teaching a beginner who struggled to keep both hands together, and after consistent practice, they confidently played their first complete piece for their family. "My piano lessons are planned around your goals while building a strong foundation that supports steady progress. We work on technique, sight reading, rhythm, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and musical expression in every stage of learning. Each lesson combines practical exercises with enjoyable music to keep learning interesting.
If you are preparing for piano examinations, I will help you build the skills and confidence needed to perform your best. If you enjoy classical music, we will focus on interpretation, accuracy, tone, and expressive playing while understanding the composer's ideas. I also encourage creativity by including simple improvisation and musical exploration during lessons.
Your progress is tracked through regular reviews, achievable goals, and helpful feedback after each lesson. I use virtual piano apps, metronomes, and other learning tools to make practice more effective and enjoyable at home. One of my students improved their sight reading by practicing just a few minutes every day with a metronome and keeping a simple practice record.
