About Samantha
My teaching style is based on patience, encouragement, and making music enjoyable for everyone. During my 9 years of teaching, I've worked with children and working professionals who all had different reasons for learning the piano.
One thing I've learned is that students improve best when lessons match their pace. I enjoy breaking bigger challenges into smaller steps because it helps students stay motivated and enjoy every small achievement.
My goal is to help students feel relaxed, enjoy making music, and build skills they can use for years. Seeing students play with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My piano lessons are designed to make learning simple, enjoyable, and practical. Each class is planned around your experience and musical interests, giving you time to understand new ideas while enjoying the process of playing music.
We'll practise scales, chords, rhythm, finger movement, hand coordination, sight reading, accompaniment, improvisation, music theory, dynamics, and expressive playing. Sometimes we'll spend extra time on one piece because building confidence is more important than rushing through lessons.
You'll receive easy practice tasks and regular progress updates after each lesson, so you always know what to work on next. Little by little, you'll find yourself playing with more confidence and enjoying the piano even more.
