About Matthew
Teaching piano has shown me that every student learns in a different way, and I enjoy finding methods that work for each individual. With 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped beginners and working professionals achieve their musical goals with confidence.
My lessons focus on understanding before memorizing. Students build technique, rhythm, coordination, music theory, sight reading, and expressive playing through practical learning that encourages curiosity, confidence, and regular improvement without unnecessary pressure.
I always try to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and trying new ideas. Watching students reach milestones through their own hard work is one of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher.

Every piano lesson is planned to make learning feel natural and enjoyable instead of overwhelming. Students learn through demonstrations, practical exercises, and familiar music, allowing them to build confidence while understanding new concepts one step at a time.
