About Randy
I am a former professor of Graphic Design having had an amazing career professionally and academically. I have a number of teaching awards, in addition to several graphic design awards. I love teaching, and have taught at all levels, from elementary to graduate students. It is my true passion to share my experience and skills with others.

I employ the flipping classroom approach with instruction and hands on activities that engage the student.
Typically, I start with a basic approach that will not overwhelm a student. I will repeat the instruction as many times as a student may need it. Then the next class, I review the previously taught material and add some additional methods. Everything is done slowly and methodically to give the student confidence and positive reinforcement.
I worked professionally for many years in the profession prior to teaching. I have both a BFA and MFA in graphic design.
I am an expert in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and have taught all levels from beginning to advanced.
