About KAJORI
Greetings! I am an Odissi dancer, practicing and teaching one of India's oldest and most graceful classical dance forms, with over 13 years of experience. Dance has always been a passion of mine, and I love helping students discover the joy, confidence, and discipline that come with learning it.
While my classes primarily focus on Odissi, I also incorporate Rabindra Nritya, fusion, and occasionally Bollywood dance to provide a well-rounded and engaging learning experience. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and personalized, ensuring that every student learns at their own pace while developing strong technique, confidence, and self-expression.
Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate learner, or an advanced student, my classes are thoughtfully tailored to suit every level. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students not only refine their dance skills but also develop a lifelong appreciation and love for the art of dance.

Experience the beauty, grace, and rich cultural heritage of Odissi, one of India's oldest and most expressive classical dance forms. My classes are carefully designed for beginners as well as students who want to strengthen their technique and performance skills in a supportive, encouraging, and enjoyable learning environment.
Each lesson is personalized according to the student's age, experience, and learning pace. We will focus on building a strong foundation by learning basic postures, footwork, hand gestures (Mudras), body movements, rhythm (Tala), expressions (Abhinaya), and choreography. As you progress, you will also develop better coordination, flexibility, stage confidence, discipline, and a deeper understanding of the art form.
Whether your goal is to learn Odissi as a hobby, prepare for performances, improve your dance skills, reconnect with Indian culture, or simply explore a beautiful classical dance style, I will guide you step by step with patience and individual attention. My aim is to make every class engaging, enjoyable, and rewarding while helping each student grow with confidence and appreciation for this timeless art.
