About Udoy

Hi! I'm Udoy, based in Toronto, Canada. I bring over 10 years of professional experience in Human Resources, benefits administration, HR systems, and data analysis, along with an earlier background in Information Technology.

Throughout my career, Microsoft Excel has been an essential part of my work. I've used it extensively for reporting, calculations, organizing and analyzing data, reconciling information, and supporting everyday business decisions.

I hold a master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Toronto, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration specializing in Computer Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University, and a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management from Humber College.

I'm currently preparing for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Excel Associate certification (MO-210) while continuing to expand my knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.

My professional experience has also given me opportunities to explain technical information, support colleagues, and help others understand workplace systems and processes. I enjoy breaking down complicated concepts into clear, manageable steps and helping people develop practical skills they can use with confidence.

Outside of work, I enjoy music, movies, technology, and cooking. I believe learning should be practical, engaging, and enjoyable, regardless of your experience level.

My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes, and developing their Excel skills at their own pace.

About the lesson

My Microsoft Excel lessons are designed to help beginners, students, and working professionals develop practical spreadsheet skills they can confidently use in everyday situations.

I believe the best way to learn Excel is through hands-on practice, clear explanations, and real-world examples. Whether you're opening Excel for the first time or looking to improve your existing skills, I'll tailor each lesson to your experience level, learning pace, and personal goals.

What you can learn:
- Excel fundamentals, including worksheets, cells, and formatting
- Formulas and functions such as SUM, IF, COUNT, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Sorting, filtering, and organizing data using Excel tables
- Creating charts, graphs, and PivotTables
- Data analysis, reporting, and practical office applications
- Preparing for workplace Excel assessments and improving job-related skills

My teaching approach:

We'll begin by discussing your current experience and what you'd like to achieve. I'll demonstrate Excel features step by step, guide you through practical exercises, and give you opportunities to apply what you've learned independently.

What sets my lessons apart is my extensive professional experience using Excel in Human Resources, benefits administration, and data analysis. I focus on teaching skills that are genuinely useful in the workplace, not simply memorizing formulas.

My goal is to make Excel less intimidating, more approachable, and ultimately a valuable skill you can use with confidence.
