About Shahwaiz
I am Shahwaiz, an O Level and A Level graduate who achieved an A* in Mathematics, along with outstanding grades in several other subjects. I am currently teaching O Level and A Level Mathematics at my former college as a substitute teacher.
I am proud to be the first alumnus from my college to be appointed as a substitute Mathematics teacher. This opportunity was offered to me because the teachers and college management recognized my ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and help students understand them effectively.
My goal is simple: to make Mathematics easier, more engaging, and less intimidating for every student I teach.

As a student who teaches Mathematics to my peers, I've realized that Mathematics itself isn't what students find difficult. The real challenge is the communication between the student and the teacher. When that communication is clear, supportive, and comfortable, learning becomes much easier. I believe in being a friend and mentor rather than just a teacher, creating an environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and truly understand the subject. In my experience, once students feel understood and encouraged, Mathematics becomes far easier to learn and enjoy.
