About Amna
Hi! I'm Amna, a communication designer and passionate fiber artist who loves creating with my hands. Alongside my work in design and branding, I've spent the past few years exploring knitting and other textile crafts, building everything from simple accessories to wearable garments.
What I enjoy most about knitting is that it's both a creative outlet and a mindful practice. It teaches patience, problem-solving, and the joy of making something entirely by hand. I love sharing that experience with others and helping beginners discover that knitting is much easier—and more fun—than it first appears.
I've also had the opportunity to conduct beginner knitting workshops, where I've guided new knitters through the fundamentals in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Whether your goal is to learn a new hobby, make thoughtful handmade gifts, or eventually knit your own sweaters and accessories, I'll support you every step of the way.
My teaching style is patient, practical, and tailored to each student's pace, so you can enjoy the process while building skills and confidence with every stitch.

I believe knitting is best learned through practice, patience, and encouragement. My lessons are hands-on and beginner-friendly, with each concept broken down into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether you've never held knitting needles before or you're looking to build on the basics, I'll adapt each class to your pace and learning style.
A typical lesson begins with a demonstration of a new technique, followed by guided practice where I help you correct mistakes, improve your tension, and build confidence. As you progress, we'll work on small projects that introduce new skills naturally, from casting on and basic stitches to reading patterns, shaping, and finishing techniques.
My goal is to make knitting enjoyable rather than intimidating. I create a relaxed and supportive learning environment where questions are always encouraged and mistakes are treated as valuable learning opportunities. Along the way, I'll also share practical tips and tricks that make the process smoother and more enjoyable.
My classes are ideal for teenagers and adults of all skill levels, especially complete beginners, hobbyists, and anyone looking to learn a creative, relaxing craft or start making their own handmade accessories and garments.
