About Riku
I have 5 years of teaching experience in a local Japanese school, and I was surprised to know there that many people outside of Japan were very interested in its culture. My goal is to help you learn Japanese in a way you would be having fun, and learning things that you want to learn. My classes are very open and chill, for a more casual and relaxing experience compared to a strict classroom atmosphere.

I teach Japanese by immersing students in their favorite aspects of Japanese culture, such as anime, manga, and games. Lessons focus on learning vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening, using scenes and dialogues from media to make learning fun for each individual. Each session is tailored to the student’s interests, combining cultural insights with interactive activities like role-playing and discussions. Ideal for beginners to intermediates, my approach is perfect for those passionate about Japanese culture who want a personalized and enjoyable way to learn the language.
