About LUIGI
I was born in Sicily, Italy, where I completed my studies through my university degree and Ph.D. in Biology. I moved to the United States at the age of 28, where I founded two biotechnology companies and published 47 scientific papers, along with numerous patents. Now that I am semi-retired, I teach Italian, review grant applications for the National Institutes of Health, play the drums, and work on various home renovation and improvement projects.

I am a native Italian speaker teaching students worldwide in English. My lessons go beyond grammar and vocabulary to include Italian culture as a whole—including cooking. In-Person Lessons
In-person lessons can be held near Bryn Mawr PA, such as at the local library or coffee shop, at no additional charge.
For locations more than 3 miles from Bryn Mawr, I charge an additional $45 travel fee per session. Travel is limited to locations within 20 miles (one way) of Bryn Mawr.
