About Sahdiya

I’m a confident, enthusiastic, and fully qualified teacher with eight years of experience teaching science across England (London) and at a top-tier international school in Bangkok.

I hold a 2:1 degree in Primary Education with Biology, a TEFL qualification, and a PGCE in Secondary Science with Biology.

My experience spans teaching and tutoring students from primary level all the way up to GCSE and A level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English.

I take pride in teaching students how to study smarter, not harder. I break down complex content into clear, simple steps and create a safe, non-judgemental environment where students feel confident to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

My approach is interactive, engaging, and rooted in communication — not just handing out worksheets. I guide students through what they've been learning in school, revisit difficult topics, test understanding using recall-based methods, and encourage them to teach concepts back to me to ensure true mastery.

Alongside classroom teaching, I have a combined online following of over 60,000 on Instagram and TikTok. Creating educational content for tens of thousands of students and parents gives me powerful insight into the challenges learners face. This allows me to stay connected, up to date, and constantly refine my practice so my teaching remains relevant, effective, and relatable.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology is centred on clarity, confidence, and meaningful understanding. I break complex ideas down into simple, manageable steps and focus on helping students study smarter, not harder. Lessons are interactive and supportive, I don’t judge students for what they don’t know. Instead, I create a safe space where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of the learning process. I use techniques such as active recall, spaced practice, modelling exam-style answers, and helping students explain ideas back to me to check genuine understanding. My goal is for every student to feel more confident, more capable, and better prepared after each session.
