About Raphael
My name is Raphael, I'm 18 years old, and I have just completed my A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. This October, I hope to begin my Physics degree at Oxford University and continue pursuing my passion for solving mathematical and scientific problems.
I have always enjoyed patiently helping classmates and friends work through tricky problems, not only because it's satisfying to watch others gain confidence in the subject but because it reinforces my own abilities. Tutoring feels like the most natural next step for me.
Outside of studying, my biggest passions have been karting, sim-racing and Formula 1, where I hope to build a career someday.

I have just completed my A-Level exams where I am predicted A*A*A* in Maths, Further Maths and Physics as well as Grade 9s in GCSE Maths and Physics. I can offer first-hand knowledge of the current GCSE syllabus, best revision resources and exam techniques for success.
I aim to help students of all abilities in their journey through GCSE Maths and Physics by reinforcing the fundamentals and hopefully building confidence (maybe even enjoyment!) in the subject rather than memorising dull methods over and over that neglect a deeper understanding. Lessons will be online and can range from 0.5-2 hours and typically I'll ask you before the lesson what topics you want to go over to maximise session time. We will then walk through each topic one by one via past paper and general practice questions whilst also trying to identify any other areas of weakness and revisiting previous topics.
