About Lélia
Hello there! I am Lélia, a French engineering student at École Polytechnique (France) and a graduate student at Imperial College London. I love my country and its culture, so it would be a pleasure to help you learn French.
I have been through exams and classes, and I know it can be stressful. That is why I wish to help others learn in an encouraging atmosphere!
I have been a science and language tutor for 3 years, helping students of various ages and backgrounds, face-to-face and online.

Every student is different, so the lessons will be tailored to your needs and initial level. I can teach beginners as well as advanced speakers wishing to improve their pronunciation and practice regularly. I can also provide help with homework or exams preparation.
I like to adopt a conversational approach, as it allows you to practice speaking as much as possible and to hear a native accent. It also removes the stress some may feel while learning a new language!
Grammar and vocabulary points will also be included in the lessons as they are the foundations of the language.
As French is not only about the language but also about the culture and the "façon d'être," I would be delighted to share my culture with you!
The lessons are mainly 1-2 hours long but can be adjusted according to your needs.
