About Clémence
About the tutor: I was born in Paris and have been living in Dublin since 2012, where I work at UCD as a French instructor since 2014. I love teaching my native language, and have done so for over 15 years, to students of different age, levels and backgrounds. I believe that self-confidence, practice and fun are keys to achieving the students’ utmost potential. I eagerly adapt to the student’s needs and learning style by expertly interweaving a ludic pedagogical approach (role play, diagrams, games…) and more traditional and rigorous language teaching and learning (grammar and conjugation exercises). I am willing to teach online and in-person and can commute within the Dublin region. Rates per hour vary from 25€ (conversation) to 60€ depending on level, type of class, and group size. Bonjour ! I am Clémence, an experienced and native French teacher from Paris providing tailored French conversation classes and grinds for secondary school and university students, as well as children and adults. Former and current students include: - Beginner-to-advanced children learners (through songs, card games, role play, arts and crafts, drama… as well as linguistic exercises) - Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate students (refresher classes, weekly tuition, intense examination preparation for both written and oral examinations) - University students (Translation, Business French, French Literature, French News and Media as well as intensive written and oral examinations, essay proofreading) - Adult learners with various projects (conversation, job interview preparation, intensive pre-weekend/holidays classes).
