About Michael

I fenced for the United States in Men's Foil.

I have 9 months of direct coaching experience at Space City Fencing Academy, teaching fundamentals under head coach Ahmed Rosowsky.

Club students have gone on to medaling at locals and regionals (Junior and Div 1A), and winning Div II National Championships, receiving C and B ratings.

Personal Achievements:

Under 19: 2-time Junior National Champion, 3-time NAC Gold medalist, Bronze at Junior World Cup in London, Junior World Champion (team). Junior US rank: 3 (after Massialas and Imboden), Junior World rank: 39.
Senior: Bronze at National Championships, Bronze at a Div 1 NAC. Top 32 at a World Cup Top 32 at a Grand Prix.
Senior US rank: 6, Senior World rank: 88.
College (fencing for Princeton): Highest bout record at Ivy-League championships as a freshman (14-1), Ivy League champion (team), NCAA champion (team) (18-5 bout record). Formerly A rated in foil and epee. Personal rankings and results are circa 2012.
