Hi, I’m Amritha — a passionate Bharatanatyam dance tutor who blends grace, energy, and storytelling into every step. With years of experience performing and teaching, I specialize in making Bharatanatyam dance accessible, expressive, and full of joy for learners of all levels. About the lesson

My Teaching Method and Techniques
My approach blends foundational technique, creativity, and enjoyment. I begin by assessing the student’s current level and goals—whether it's for performance, fitness, exams, or pure passion. I emphasize body awareness, rhythm, posture, and expression through progressive steps. For children, I use games and storytelling; for adults, I adapt pacing and choreography based on their comfort and confidence.

Typical Lesson Plan
A 45–60 minute session is structured as follows:

Warm-up (5–10 mins): Light cardio, stretches, and rhythm exercises.

Technique practice (10–15 mins): Footwork, body alignment, movement drills.

Choreography or routine learning (20–30 mins): Step-by-step guidance on a short sequence.

Cool down and feedback (5 mins): Relaxation and personalized tips.

Every class is interactive and designed to keep students motivated and progressing steadily.
