About Jayce

Because I have been teaching for over a decade, I have developed lessons that will work for every type of learner. I am probably the most patient person you know. Do not be afraid of asking ANY questions - even if you think they're silly. That's exactly why I love helping students- I really live and breathe photography every day of my life and am excited to share what I know, knowing others will benefit from learning it as well. I've done all the hard work, now all you have to do is ask.

About the lesson

Learning doesn't happen without failure. In my class, we learn through small failures, fix them... and repeat. Success is the phoenix that rises from many smaller failures along the way.
In the lessons you will learn about:
-Exposure, camera operations, composition, timing, ways to train your eye to see the good images, editing, sorting, organizing, and about the ins and outs of the genre of your choice:
Portrait, photojournalism, fine art, landscape, commercial, wedding, sports, macro, still-life, astro, architecture, wildlife, composite, food, drone, or even video.
My lessons are for a beginner who has never used the manual controls of a camera all the way up to someone honing their professional skills, needing educated feedback.

Perfect! Jayce is a wonderful photography tutor! He was able to break down the information in an easy-to-understand format. After one lesson, I already feel more confident with my camera setup. I'm already spending more time being creative and less time figuring out the basic settings. I recommend Jayce to anyone on their photography journey.
