Hello! I'm Rohit Roy Choudhary, a passionate chess player and coach with over 13 years of experience in the game. I hold a FIDE rating of 1712 RATINGS.FIDE.COM and have been actively involved in both playing and teaching chess. Achievements: Pioneering Success: I was the first player from the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Chandigarh region to win a medal in chess, marking a significant milestone for the region. National Representation: I had the honor of representing the KVS Chandigarh region in the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) tournaments, competing at the national level. Tournament Participation: Over the years, I've participated in numerous tournaments, including the 62nd SGFI Chess Nationals 2016-17 in the U-19 category YOTTACHESS.COM and the 29th Chandigarh Chess Championship 2018. Coaching Philosophy: With over 5 years of coaching experience, I believe in a personalized approach to teaching chess. My goal is to help each student understand the intricacies of the game, develop strategic thinking, and foster a genuine love for chess.
