About Isla
Science can tell a story, and in forensic chemistry, that story can change lives. I have over 6 years of tutoring experience and an MSc in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry, and I help students unlock the detective power of science. We explore drug analysis, toxicology, and the chemistry of crime scenes through real-world examples and simulated cases. You’ll get hands-on with concepts like chromatography and spectroscopy, learning not only how to use them but also how to read the clues they reveal. Ethics matter just as much as accuracy, so we discuss the importance of objectivity and responsibility in every lesson. Many of my students go on to pursue careers in forensic labs or law enforcement, equipped with both skills and confidence.
