About Josephine
1.As a teacher at Virgo Fidelis Convent Senior School , I have taught the following subjects -
Religious Education – 2009-2019 – I was responsible for teaching KS3 & 4. I always got 95 % 9-4 for all the KS4 classes that I taught.
Critical Thinking AS level 2009-2011- I taught the subject for two years for which I got 80% A*-C.
Business Btec 2012-2014- I taught the subject for two years and got 90% students passing with Distinction.
A-Level Business and Accounting 2015-2019- I taught the two subjects for 4 years and have achieved 70% A*-C
Head of IT, Business and Accounting 2015-2019- I have been the head for 4 years. I have managed staff, prepared schemes of work, analysed data, observed staff, conducted staff appraisal, and moderated work of students .
2.I am at present a school chaplain at La Retraite School. I joined the school in October 2019. I work there 4 days a week. I decided to change my career as I wanted to try newer things in life and chaplaincy is something, which has always been close to my heart. As a chaplain, I am responsible for - the class masses, conducting assemblies, leading retreats, conducting prayer services, preparing the newsletter, preparing the students for confessions and train them for altar service. Take classes in Religious Education.
3. I am also an examiner for AQA for A level and GCSE Business studies . I became an examiner in 2019 .

I like to start the lesson by looking at the prior knowledge of the students. Then I would begin with the main content of the lesson. For each topic, there will be questions which the students will answer after it has been explained . Usually I like to see the student`s book from the time they start their work and also solve any doubts when the students are trying to answer the questions. I end with a plenary, to check what they have learnt.
I also provide help with course works/ essays in Business, Accounting.
