About Isadora
I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro and after years of traveling around I decided to come to Cairns to continue my studies in tropical biology.
In the last three years I have dedicated myself to teaching Portuguese for foreigners in a relaxed way, without boring classes. My goal is to present the language through Brazilian art and culture, and through good and old conversation.

I base my classes on conversation, reading and listening. For people the don't have any clue on how to start, I focus on basic phrases and the pronouciation of words. Once the student master this first steps, we move to the next level which concists in learning more complex sentences and listening to conversation with diferent accents. The classes are usually very open and the student is more then welcome to bring any content of its preference. I belive it is easier to learn when you have interest for the subject.
