About Beatriz

I'm an International Relations major, and because of the nature of this field, I understand the difficulties of learning a language and sometimes it not being used in everyday situations. I also have five years of experience, which helped me to see the main struggles foreigners have with language and gather resources to help. That is why I want to help you improve your Portuguese skills in comprehension, speaking, and writing while giving you an immersion in Brazilian culture and art. Learn the language and have fun while doing it!

About the lesson

My teaching method is based on cultural aspects. Therefore, I will always bring some of it to the discussion. Speaking abilities are also developed since the first class, and so is phonetics. I can teach people from 10 years old to 65 years old. Class duration can be from 15 minutes (conversation only) to one and a half hours.

Excellent! Through my own fault u was almost 10 minutes late to the free lesson as u wasn’t aware it was via google meet. When I did join Beatriz was warm and welcoming and helped me get an understanding of the Brazilian culture and relates to the carnival setting which helped.

Perfect! The trial lesson was very interesting and learnt about Brazilian culture. After our first lesson I was given personal suggestions on films, YouTube etc I would like based on my interests.
