I focus on making biology feel clear and manageable. Sessions are interactive and adapt to what you need most—whether that’s breaking down tough concepts, working through practice questions, or building stronger study habits. As a UW Biology Teaching Associate with experience in healthcare and STEM education, I’m used to seeing where students tend to get stuck and how to guide them through it. I work with high school, Running Start, and college students in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Microbiology who want more confidence and consistency in their work.

About the lesson

Biology can feel fast, dense, and overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to stay that way. I’m a Biology Teaching Associate at the University of Washington, where I teach college-level biology labs and support students through some of the most challenging parts of STEM courses.

My background spans healthcare, classroom teaching, and curriculum development, giving me both real-world and academic experience in how biology is used and how it’s learned. I’ve worked with students across high school, Running Start, and college levels in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Microbiology.

My focus is simple: clear explanations, steady structure, and practical strategies that help concepts finally click. I aim to help students build confidence alongside competence so they can move through their courses with more clarity and control.
