About Dyana

Hi! I’m a native Arabic speaker with a background in literature, law, and psychology. I teach Arabic to students of all ages and levels, with lessons tailored to each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you want to learn Levantine dialect, improve your speaking and reading, explore Arabic literature, or better understand classical Arabic and the Quran, I create lessons that are clear, structured, and engaging. My goal is to help students build real confidence and develop a natural connection with the language through conversation, reading, culture, and practical use.

Spoken Arabic | Levantine Dialects & Real Life Communication:
One of my main areas of focus is spoken Arabic, especially Levantine dialects including Lebanese Arabic. Lessons focus on natural communication, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural expression to help students speak more confidently in real life situations.
Reading, Writing & Comprehension:
I help students strengthen their reading, listening, writing, and overall understanding of Arabic through clear explanations, practical exercises, and personalized guidance adapted to each level.
Classical Arabic & Literature:
With a strong academic background in Arabic literature, I also teach grammar, writing, and literary texts for students interested in exploring Arabic more deeply.

Perfect! Dyana has been a wonderful tutor and gears her lesson plans according to my skill level, study interests, and with a very approachable and friendly manner.

While her expertise lies in Lebanese mannerisms and dialect, she proves to have a phenomenal grasp of numerous Arabic dialects and mannerisms that brings a very welcomed cultural background to our lessons (which is very important to me as a non-Arab learner).

Dyana has been very accommodating with scheduling, sharing resources, and keeping open lines of communication. I would recommend Dyana to anyone looking to study Arabic, either spoken or written.
