Hi Parents! I’m Makya — a mom, homeschool educator, and youth mentor who believes learning should be as exciting as it is meaningful. For over 20 years, I’ve been helping children ages 6–12 gain confidence, discover their strengths, and develop skills they’ll carry for life. I specialize in turning tricky subjects into hands-on, real-world lessons your child will actually enjoy — from reading and math to public speaking, STEM, and even entrepreneurship. About the lesson

I have a unique lesson plan, I call it The 5-Step “FUN” Lesson Plan (45–50 minutes) 1. Kick-Off Game (5 minutes) 2. Today’s Super Skill (5 minutes) 3. Hands-On Mission (15 minutes) 4. Challenge Round (10 minutes) 5. Wrap-Up Win (5 minutes) – Lastly, ending with a fun “home challenge” I make math come alive by linking it to real-life situations kids can relate to. Our lessons might include: *Cooking activities to explore fractions and measurements *Shopping challenges to practice addition, subtraction, and budgeting *Building projects to understand geometry concepts *Friendly competitions and interactive math games to keep learning fun
