About Jasmine

Hello! My name is Jasmine and I am a native British English speaker. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s in Neuroscience from King’s College London and an accredited Level 3 TEFL qualification.

I have always been fascinated by how the human brain learns, adapts and builds confidence. My passion for teaching grew directly out of my psychology and neuroscience studies, where I realised that traditional learning methods often ignore how our minds actually acquire new skills like language.

I teach because I love helping students experience those moments when a difficult concept suddenly clicks. I have seen firsthand how much of a difference personalised support can make.

Whether you want to build confidence in conversational English or need support with academia, including breaking down complex subjects, writing essays or anything in-between, I tailor my approach entirely to you.

About the lesson

My lessons are highly interactive, typically lasting 60 minutes, and focus on active learning and real-world conversations rather than boring grammar drills.

Whether you want to build confidence in conversational English or need support with academia, including breaking down complex subjects, writing essays or anything in-between, I tailor my approach entirely to you. I also have extensive experience providing 1-on-1 academic support for neurodiverse learners.

Outside of teaching and science, you’ll usually find me scuba diving and travelling! Please get in touch if you'd like to arrange a chat or trial lesson.
